I designed two Canva grid systems for Saia da Crise, a Brazilian marketing blog β content packs personal brands and small agencies could drop straight into their own feed.

The Brief
Saia da Crise needed a pack that sells itself before anyone reads a word of copy. These are Canva template packs β the product is the grid, so the grid itself had to work as the pitch: instantly readable as "premium," easy to imagine with someone else's face and words in place of the demo content.
I built two packs on the same underlying grid logic, one soft and editorial (blush pink and olive) and one loud and Y2K (mauve pink and black), so the same buyer could pick the version that matches their own brand voice.
AMake each grid read as one system in a thumbnail, not twelve unrelated tiles
BBalance educational content with offers so the pack doesn't feel like one long ad
CKeep every tile flexible enough for a buyer to swap in their own photos and words

Exhibit β Blush & Olive
The softer, editorial pack, shown as it previews on a phone. Pins mark the decisions doing the work.

1
Only two colours, alternated on purpose
Pink and olive never sit in the same tile β each tile picks one accent, so the grid reads as a considered pattern even before you register any of the words.
2
Photography does the "premium" work
Soft, overexposed lifestyle shots β coffee, laptops, flowers β carry the tone so the type can stay simple and swappable underneath.
3
A device screenshot sells the "services" tile
The one tile pitching services is styled as a laptop-and-phone mockup rather than plain text β it looks like proof of work, not an ad.
4
A relatable "meme" tile breaks up the polish
"Desculpe, tenho planos para hoje Γ noite" β one tile drops the polish for humour, which is what makes the rest of the grid feel human rather than templated.
03
Exhibit β Pink Pop
The louder, Y2K-leaning pack for a bolder brand voice. Same underlying logic, opposite energy.

1
A "thank you" tile earns its spot
A follower-milestone post sits inside the pack itself β buyers see exactly how community moments are meant to look before they've posted a single one.
2
Black tiles as punctuation, not the base
Solid black only appears on a third of the tiles β used as a hard stop between softer pink ones, the same way a bold headline breaks up a page of body copy.
3
Sticker collage instead of clean icons
Stars, lips, and hand-drawn squiggles replace the tidy iconography of the blush pack β it's the single biggest signal that this is the "loud" version of the same system.
4
A quiz tile invites a reply, not just a like
Multiple-choice format turns one tile into a comment-bait post β the kind of interactive template a buyer can't easily improvise themselves.

Content Mix Analysis
A breakdown I put together myself β every tile across all four grid variations, sorted into five content roles, to check the packs weren't secretly one long sales pitch.
Educational / how-to46.7% Β· 21 tiles
Offer / CTA20.0% Β· 9 tiles
Motivational / quote20.0% Β· 9 tiles
Relatable / meme6.7% Β· 3 tiles
Social proof / community6.7% Β· 3 tiles
I sorted all 45 tiles across the four grid variations by hand into these five roles. Under a third of the pack is a direct offer β the rest earns the follow first, which is what makes the offer tiles land when they show up.
05
The System
Every pack opens on the same preview chrome β a five-dot palette strip and the three Instagram profile tabs β before a single tile is seen. That's the part I designed to be identical across every pack, whatever the palette underneath.

Same five-dot preview strip, same three profile-tab icons, on every pack β a buyer previewing either one gets an identical first impression before the palette even registers.
Alternate grids in the same packs
Blush & Olive β content-plan variation
Pink Pop β strategy-tips variation
Each pack ships with more than one grid so a buyer isn't locked into a single content plan β same palette and chrome, different tile mix.

Why It Works
The product previews itself
Because the deliverable is a template, the grid has to double as its own advertisement β I designed for the thumbnail view first, the individual tile second.
Value before the ask, on purpose
The content-mix breakdown backs this up: educational tiles outnumber offer tiles more than two to one across both packs.
One chrome, two personalities
Keeping the preview header identical across palettes meant I could design two very different moods without the pack family feeling disconnected.
