The Alice Brown
Branding Kit

A cohesive YouTube identity system — banners, channel art, thumbnails, end screens and a social kit, unified by one sage‑green cottagecore palette.

01 — The Brief

A Cohesive Identity, Built to Repeat

The goal was a full YouTube branding kit for "Alice Brown," a cottage‑life lifestyle creator — one system flexible enough to cover the banner, channel art, thumbnails, end screens and social layouts, but disciplined enough that every piece reads as the same brand at a glance. Everything below is built from four repeating decisions: a soft cottage‑garden palette, a serif‑and‑sans type pairing, hand‑drawn floral accents, and a consistent tape‑and‑tab motif for calls to action.

1Floral accents
2Subscribe tab (CTA)
3Serif logotype + tracked sans caption
4Washi‑tape contact block
PaletteSage green, blush pink and warm cream — pulled straight from a cottage garden, kept to three tones so nothing competes with the photo.
TypographyA soft serif for "Alice Brown" carries the personality; a small letter‑spaced sans handles every label, so the hierarchy never gets confused.
IllustrationHand‑drawn daisies and a single trailing vine soften the grid without ever covering the subject's face.
MotifA recurring "washi tape" tab treats contact info and CTAs as scrapbook elements instead of UI chrome — it's the one device repeated across all 13 assets.

02 — Building The System

From Generic Layout to On‑Brand Banner

Most creator banners start from the same default: a left‑aligned photo, a bold sans headline, a stock button. The system swaps every one of those defaults for something specific to the brand — without losing the layout logic a viewer already expects from a channel banner.

Kit Components

Every component pulls from the same four decisions on page one — so a new end screen or a new social tile never needs a fresh design call, only a fresh photo.

ConsistencyThe tape‑tab, the floral corner and the serif logotype appear on all 13 assets — not most of them.
ScalabilityEach template is built on the same grid, so future assets (Shorts covers, live thumbnails) can be added without breaking the system.

03 — Outcome

What the Kit Delivers

The finished kit gives Alice Brown a ready‑to‑edit identity that scales across every surface YouTube asks for — without asking her to make a single new design decision per asset.

13
Coordinated templates
Banners, channel art, a social grid, end screens and an icon set — one download, one brand.
03
Palette tones, no more
Sage, blush and cream repeat everywhere, so new assets can't drift off‑brand.
01
Recurring motif
The washi‑tape tab ties CTAs, captions and contact info into a single visual language.
100%
Editable in Canva
Every layer — photo, type and illustration — stays swappable for future videos.

"The brief wasn't more assets — it was one visual voice, repeated until it felt inevitable."

Next steps would be extending the same three‑tone palette and tape motif into a Shorts cover and a live‑stream overlay — the two surfaces the current kit doesn't cover yet — so the identity holds no matter where a viewer meets the channel first.
